Newcomers FUMES and Gurgling Gore alumni THORN have teamed up to unleash a split EP of absolutely crushing, cavernous death/doom metal. FUMES begins the split with his take on atmospheric-yet-technical death metal, reminiscent of Demlich and other Finnish death metal legends. THORN takes side 2 and continues what he started with his “The Encompassing Nothing” debut: a perfect blend of reverb-soaked doom ala dISEMBOWELMENT expertly mixed with modern cavernous death metal in the vein of Dark Descent stalwarts.
